The integration between AviontéBOLD and The Safety Standard (TSS) creates a streamlined workflow by automatically exchanging key talent data, activity statuses, and certification information between both platforms.

Recruiters can easily onboard talent into TSS using specific tags without leaving the Avionté platform. Talent is automatically provisioned and assigned the appropriate courses in TSS, ensuring a frictionless experience. Upon course completion, certification details—including expiration dates and certificate links—are updated directly into the Avionté Talent Activities section, simplifying compliance management and record-keeping. This automatic, bidirectional exchange ensures accuracy, enhances operational efficiency, and minimizes manual administrative tasks for recruiters and managers.

Detailed Process Explanation

The integration process involves clearly defined steps for AviontéBOLD users to easily onboard and manage talent within The Safety Standard (TSS):

1. Custom Office Creation:

Initially, the staffing company administrator within Avionté creates a “Custom Office” with any preferred label. This Custom Office label must be shared with the TSS team, who will configure the integration within The Safety Standard app. No additional configuration is required from the staffing company’s users or Avionté’s team beyond this step.

2. Granting Recruiter Permissions:

Staffing company administrators assign recruiters access to the newly created Custom Office. Once assigned, recruiters gain the necessary permissions to initiate talent onboarding through Avionté.

3. Talent Tagging and User Provisioning:

Authorized recruiters can easily onboard new or existing talents by adding two specific Talent Tags within Avionté:

• TSS-Subsite-Onboard: Automatically creates a new user account for the talent in TSS (selecting yes in Details tag field option).
• TSS-Group-Assignment: Assigns the talent into specific learning groups within TSS. Recruiters choose from 6 predefined groups, each granting tailored access to the appropriate training courses in TSS.

4. Automated Talent Onboarding (Webhooks):

The Safety Standard continuously monitors Avionté via Webhooks, observing the creation or updating of talents. When talent profiles with the correct tags are identified and linked to recruiters with appropriate permissions, TSS automatically triggers the onboarding process:

• User accounts are created seamlessly within TSS.
• Talent receives an activation email from TSS, including login credentials, granting immediate access to their assigned courses. The talent can reset their password upon initial login for increased security.

5. Talent Learning Experience and Permissions:

Once logged into TSS, the talent enjoys all standard student functionalities. No permission restrictions or differences exist between talents onboarded via Avionté integration and those onboarded directly in TSS. Talents can complete theoretical and practical training courses and evaluations as assigned.

6. Automatic Certification and Activity Updates (Bidirectional):

Upon course completion, TSS automatically updates AviontéBOLD by sending detailed certification data through the API:

• Activity Instance Update: Includes certification name, course title, evaluator details, course completion date, certificate expiration date, and a direct URL link to the generated certificate.
• Certification Tag: A certification tag is simultaneously created and applied in Avionté, clearly indicating the specific course completed and the certification expiration date.

7. Certification Renewal and Management:

If a talent retakes or renews a course, TSS automatically manages this renewal within Avionté:

• The outdated Certification Tag is automatically removed.
• A new Certification Tag with the updated expiration date is generated, ensuring accurate compliance tracking at all times.
