American Aerial Work Platform Theory

Aerial work platforms (AWPs) are used every day in both industrial and construction workplaces, allowing workers to safely reach elevated work areas. This AWP theory training and certification course is designed to help new and experienced learners become safe and effective AWP operators. It covers workplace responsibilities, AWP basics, principles of stability, safe operating procedures, and AWP fall protection, for both scissor lifts and boom lifts. Upon successful completion of the course, learners will receive a Fall Protection certificate. An AWP certificate will be issued after successful completion of practical training and/or a practical evaluation (additional payment is required for practical training and evaluations; we do not provide practical training or evaluations to independent operators – please enquire about practical training/evaluations in your area before taking this course, as refunds will not be provided once the course has been completed).
